Great tracks, great voices, great feel good vibe. Yes you can tell they have used autotune a bit to get the right tones, but to be honest who cares!

Brilliantly rousing album. The arrangements and performances are amazing on the best tracks such as Take A Bow and Somebody To Love. If you want an album for long car journeys that everyone can sing to, then let this be it!

The glee songs are great on screen and great on CD. It is a shame though that some of the songs featured aren't on here eg the mash ups and the song Kristin Chenoweth sang with the club. But overall a great CD perfect for in the car!

We're almost nearing the end of the first half of Season One here in Ireland, and it's been a really good, fresh, interesting show. This CD contains tracks from the first nine episodes of Season One, and each song fits really well into the episode storylines.
The covers of Queen's "Somebody to Love" and Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" are well thought-out and brilliantly performed by the main cast members. Amber Riley, Lea Michele, Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer are (by a mile)the strongest singers (Mercedes, Rachel, Artie and Kurt), and ensemble numbers like "Gold Digger" and "Keep Holding On" work well. (Even if "Keep Holding On" is almost a carbon-copy of the Avril Lavigne original).
The cover of Jazmine Sullivan's "Bust Your Windows" by Amber Riley is well worth a listen, as is the Jill Scott cover "Hate on Me." Another noteworthy performance comes from Lea Michele, whose clear voice copes surprisingly well on Rihanna's "Take a Bow" without sounding copycat.
The beautiful voice of Chris Colfer really stands out on the duet "Defying Gravity" (from the musical "Wicked") with Lea Michele - At times, it's hard to differentiate between the two voices. It's easy to see why the part of Kurt was specifically written for Colfer.
Another notable track is "Alone" from the wonderful Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison, who manages to hold his own. The other Celine Dion-related track on the CD, "Taking Chances", is a good enough cover by Lea Michele, but in my opinion an odd choice of song, and not one of Celine's strongest or well-known.
The remainder of the album is worth a listen, the only track I skip regularly is "Maybe This Time", because I absoultely hate the musical "Cabaret", and the song just seems to turn into a scream-fest.
If you're a fan of the show, you like the "Glee" style, and you want a pretty good soundtrack to pop into the CD player to sing along with, then buy this. You won't be disappointed.

I really love the tracks on this CD, and what's more after experiencing problems with downloading the tracks I contacted Amazon expecting to be palmed off. Much to my surprise they resent my order and sent an email to me apologising. Great service! Thanks Amazon!
